The Great House Antigua is one of a handful of original plantation houses open to guests. The features and furnishings throughout the Buff House have been restored to present an elegant and charming hotel.

This boutique hotel has eight suites, guests can book to stay in one of the four Buff House Suites or choose to stay in one of the four Garden Cottage Suites, which are nestled within the tropical gardens, each in vibrant Caribbean hues.

Plantation Suites included mahogany four-poster beds, antique furnishings with a wealth of history and stories and equipped with modern luxuries while retaining their historic charm.

Garden Cottage Suites have traditional Antiguan pyramid roofs with vaulted ceilings, private terraces and designed with guest privacy and comfort in mind.

During your stay, three meals a day are included, along with fruit platters after fitness classes and drinks by the pool. Meals are created to suit the guests, reflecting your tastes, whether it is a vegetarian or local cuisine.

Guests are offered one wellness class a day, which range from yoga, stretch, meditation, dance or boot camp, all of which take place in the outdoor studio, overlooking the bay. As well as local island walks, guests have full use of the house, grounds, and pool, with no external interruptions.

For those looking to explore the island, Cedar Valley Golf Club is 16km away, with Long Bay beach 8km away, which is perfect for snorkelling, and John’s town is 15km away.
